Craving Adventure

Craving Adventure is a clear example of how important branding elements other than logos really are. This is our personal brand and our faces and our personalities are just as much part of the brand identity as the logo is.

For a while now I’ve been debating wether I should publish this project in my portfolio. Craving Adventure is Tom’s and mine personal brand as a travel couple. We are sharing photos from our travels on Instagram and we also share travel tips and destination guides on our blog. We aim to inspire others to travel more, but mainly travel better, and to live their best life.

This project is a clear example of how important branding elements other than logos really are. Craving Adventure is our personal brand and our faces and our personalities are just as much part of the brand identity as the logo is. I kept the logo simple and extremely minimalistic. The design is image heavy in order to highlight the photos which have a very homogeneous look and feel. The use of a handwritten font gives it that extra personal flare to encourage people to get in touch and emphasise how much we love connecting with other (aspiring) travellers and give our brand that extra bit of approachability.
