Craving Adventure is a clear example of how important branding elements other than logos really are. Craving Adventure is our personal brand and our faces and our personalities are just as much part of the brand identity as the logo is. We are sharing photos from our travels on Instagram and we also share travel tips and destination guides on our blog. We aim to inspire others to travel more, but mainly travel better, and to live their best life.
A simple, minimalistic, and black and white design that allows Nick’s photos to stand out and speak their story loud and clear.
Nick is a photographer from Australia’s Blue Mountains - a spectacular area with amazing landscapes and almost every kind of outdoor activity you could imagine, which inspired him to pursue outdoor and adventure photography.
He’s passionate about travel, adventure and the great outdoors, mountain peeks and climbing crags which we wanted to convey through his website and branding.
Adventure, mountains, beauty
We opted for a simple, minimalistic, and black and white design to allow his photos to stand out and speak their story loud and clear.
Nick sells his made to order prints through the e-commerce website. In order to portray his artwork in the best possible light I created several mockups to better present them and simulate their use in homes and office spaces.
This brand brings together board-sports and African culture in a fresh and fun way.
The incredible Raph went over and beyond to bring this cosy accomodation for kitesurfers to Sakalava. The locals there don't make it easy for foreign investors. When we first started this project he was struggling not only with locals, but his DIY logo and website just weren't bringing him any customers or online recognition. Luckily the later was something I could help him with.
Just a few weeks later Google started ranking his website on the first page for selected keywords. Isn't it magic what a few strategy sessions, a thoughtful brand and a professional website with good copywriting can do for your business?
Fun, African, home
We've incorporated typical Madagascar elements into the brand, not only visually but by adapting the room names and the website copy as well. The KiteParadise brand brings together board-sports, African culture and welcoming customer service.
Keeping the balance between professional and free spirit was the biggest feat in order to deliver a clean corporate brand with just that little bit of swag.
Paul is a fire consultant with a twist, not your average suit and cubicle kind of engineer. He took his business online which is a fairly unusual approach in such a structured and hardly legislated industry. But he, being this intriguing mix of genius and hippy with a strong thirst for travel, managed to turn his fire engineering consultancy Fire-Q into a great success.
Professional, reliable, fire
Paul offers very competitive rates to his clients as he cut down on office overheads, but he was having trouble finding new clients and gaining their trust. Paul quickly realised he needed a strong brand in order to succeed among the big fish. He wanted a strong, clean and professional look, with just a little bit of something funky that would make it different and more engaging than the usual dull engineering firm.
A fiery red, orange and yellow colour palette was chosen for this branding but kept grounded with plenty of neutrals and white space. As expected by engineers, the logo and icons have a strong geometrical character with clear structural features.
